Ralph wept for the end of innocence, the darkness of man’s heart, and the fall through the air of a true, wise friend called Piggy.

The climax of this nove l is Jack taking Piggi's glasses from Ralph and making his gang. In the story, the glasses are very important and the only thing which allow them to make a fire and broil foods. The glasses are the thing that allow each of them to achieve their own goal become having people at the back. Therefore, taking glasses from Ralph means taking power from him and it is the climax of the conflict between two leaders, Jack and Ralph. Also, all of the teenagers in the island except for Piggi, Simon and Ralph, decide to follow Jack rather than under Ralph's rules. When I read the climax, I felt that the society in the island would be changed and the conflict had begun.

The main characters in the novel are Jack, Ralph, Piggi and Simon. Piggi and Simon are the kids who follow Ralph, so the most important characters would be Jack and Ralph who are against each other in the story. Most people would think that Jack is bad and wrong because he killed other boy and broke the rule, but his decision could be better than Ralph's decision that vest on authority in a turban shell and hold a meeting when they are faced with a situation that endanger their life. Ralph's formal rule isn't essential for them, but Jack is realistic and knows what is important for them, surviving in the island. Also, the rule he made that if someone touch other's things, they would get punished by whipping. This is much more realistic than the rule made by Ralph that gives black marks to the person break the rule. So I like Jack more than Ralph in the novel.

Are there are any current situations in the world that relate to the novel? What are they, and how do they relate? Does the novel shed any light on how current situations could be resolved or "fixed"?
I saw a movie named 'The Mist' and I think the situation in the movie is similar to this novel. In the movie, people are attacked by monsters in the mist. They are locked in a market which is similar to being left in an island. In the movie, a woman who is a religious fanatic is similar to Jack in 'Lord of the Flies'. As the situation get worse and become acute, people bagin to follow the woman and start losing their reason. The ending is also alike to the novel. The movie ends with the main character being rescued but their families are all killed. Similarly, the novel ends with Ralph being rescued by a pilot.

In the climax of this novel, the true and original purpose of the animal farm was disappeared and destroyed by Napoleon's dictatorship. Snowball, the competitor of Napoleon, was wrongly accused by Napoleon after the battle with humans from other farms. The seven commandments which the pigs made in the beginning of the 'animal farm' was ignored and the pigs even trade with human beings that they considered as enemies. Boxer, who worked the hardest for the farm, was killed by Napoleon's order as he couldn't work for the farm like before anymore.

All animals are equal.
No animal shall drink alcohol,
No animal shall wear clothes
No animal shall sleep in a bed
Or kill a fellow four-footed creature.
Those that go upon four legs or wings are friends
The two-legged are, by definition, the enemy.
This passage is the seven commandments that the animals made after they expelled humans from the farm. In this commandments, they say that actions that is belong to human such as drinking alcohols, wearing clothes, or sleeping in a bed. They consider four-legged as friends and two-legged, which are humans, as their enemies. They say that all peole are bad and it can be considered as a no-gray-area.
The importance of this passage is that the commandments were made by the intelligent leaders (pigs) at the beginning of the 'animal farm'. However, the animal farm ends up with the seven commandments being changed and ignored by the pigs including Napoleon.

Soviet Union was built by kicking Russian imperilists out with socialism and Stalin became the ruler of Soviet Union. However, as this story shows, communism and socialism didn't go long as they have a lot of problems. Stalin's Soviet Union was collapsed because people get same awards even if they work harder than others. This fact was also reflected in the novel. Boxer, who worked hard and sincerely, was killed by a horse slaughter as he was old enough and couldn't work for the farm anymore.

Daffodils
William Wordsworth ddddddd
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed? and gazed? but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
