What is the mood of this novel? What happens? Do you find this novel saddens you in any way? Why?

The mood of this novel is mainly tense and about change of mind of the teenagers in the island. At the beginning of this novel, the teenagers were close and trusted each other. However, they begin to have conflict between Jack and Ralph and even Jack's gang kills Simon and Piggi for their profits. I feel gloomy of this novel as it ends with the teenagers betray each other and being changed after they are left in the island.

What is the climax of this novel? What happens? How do the events of this novel make you feel?

The climax of this nove l is Jack taking Piggi's glasses from Ralph and making his gang. In the story, the glasses are very important and the only thing which allow them to make a fire and broil foods. The glasses are the thing that allow each of them to achieve their own goal become having people at the back. Therefore, taking glasses from Ralph means taking power from him and it is the climax of the conflict between two leaders, Jack and Ralph. Also, all of the teenagers in the island except for Piggi, Simon and Ralph, decide to follow Jack rather than under Ralph's rules. When I read the climax, I felt that the society in the island would be changed and the conflict had begun.
